National baseball team officially training ahead of MLB Dodgers-San Diego friendly match.
The Korean national baseball team's Dong-ju Moon (Hanwha Eagles) and Bin Kwak (Doosan Bears) were selected as starting pitchers for the 2024 Major League Baseball (MLB) Seoul Series warm-up game.
National team coach Ryu Joong-il met with reporters during official training for the MLB Seoul Series evaluation match held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 16th and said, "Moon Dong-ju will start in the first game and Kwak Bin will start in the second game."
He added, "Both players are in good shape as they are the best aces of the national team.
“I expected it to show.”
Moon Dong-ju will play against the San Diego Padres at Gocheok Dome at 7 p.m. on the 17th, and Kwak Bin will play against the Los Angeles Dodgers starting at the same time on the 18th.
